Training
Increasingly, business, individuals and organizations are leveraging the power of the Internet to access training and online classes. I teach for several universities – both online and physically in the classroom, and have experienced this trend first hand. In response, I have partnered with a company called Digital Chalk to provide multimedia training. Their platform allows one to combine video, power point, quizzes and downloadable materials. Those who take the courses and score greater than 70% on the quizzes will receive a certificate of successful course completion.
I was drawn to work with Digital Chalk because training and public speaking have been a lifelong passion of mine. I was a member of Toastmasters International for 15 years. As the State Director nonprofit political organization, I trained over 300 people in how to run for political office and become engaged in our electoral process. In 2005, I was named Faculty of the Year for the Indianapolis Campus of the University of Phoenix. In fact, if you CLICK HERE, you can access a newsletter article about me and my teaching credentials.
I’d like to invite you to view a demo of me teaching using the Digital Chalk Platform. My demo introduces you to my first course called “Getting Started with Statistics.” It is designed as an overview statistics, and is based on the courses I presently teach. In the future, I’ll be developing other types of courses such as Launching an Online Business, Evaluating Business Technology Needs, and Training Leaders God’s Way.
To create a FREE account and log onto the demo, follow the directions in the box to the left. Or, download and follow the instructions by CLICKING THIS LINK to see the screen shots on the Digital Chalk login page. The Digital Chalk login page can be ACCESSED HERE
And, if you have some other thoughts on what you believe would be of use, please post to me here on my blog.
